When Neil and I first got married, working together as business partners was far from our

envisioned happily ever after. But yet here we are working full time on our small business

from home every day.

Today we're sharing what led up to all of this and what advice we would give to anyone else

trying to run a business or even just run a life together as a couple.

I'm here with Neil today and we are going to talk about a topic that has been brought up a few times in Q&As and also recently someone popped into my DMs and said, I would love to hear about your career paths, both of you and how that led up to doing what you do today. And also exactly a year ago, pretty much, we were in Palm

Springs sharing a presentation at Alt Summit about working together as a couple. So today we're just

going to share some of our tips, kind of our backstory into how we even ended up in this position where we worked together full time and some of the

things that we've learned over the past several years. How many years has it been that we've

both worked from home together? Let's see. I guess it depends on how you're counting it.

I was four. So probably at least five. Yeah it. Byless four. So. Probably at least five.

So it all started.

Well, let's go back even before we moved here.

So when Neil and I got married in 2011, he, well, so I'll give my career a little short

background and then I'll let him give his.

So I had worked pretty much as a college student, as an executive assistant.

It was one of those, like, be careful what your first job is because it might end up being your forever job.
