if you're medically able. Hello, Marcus. Flu season in the U.S. starts in October and the vaccine

takes about two weeks to become effective. It's covered for free under many health insurance plans

flu vaccines is not to protect ourselves, but to protect the vulnerable people in our lives, like the elderly, young children, and the sick.
