Do not hire interns. It's a strong statement I know, but we find that hiring interns is not a fit for

most small business owners. I would say 90% of small business owners that have a team of 15 or less, you do not need an intern. Our clients in Six Figures Lab often arrive

in overwhelm and they need help. Six Figures Lab is our group coaching program that helps

consultants, marketers, and financial professionals go from multi-five figures in revenue

to multi-six figures in revenue so they can pay themselves $8,000 to $10,000 a month.

And that involves expanding their team. Often they are a solopreneur or just have a few contractors.

But hiring is a big process and it's a

project. Hiring is a project. It can be costly in terms of money and time and your energy and

add to your sense of overwhelm. When we hire interns, we're signing up to take time out of our

business and our work to train

someone who most likely will take longer to do the work than someone with experience in

that role.

Often they're part of a school internship program, which also requires additional amount

of your time to manage.

All of this only adds to your plate and doesn't end up providing the relief that you need.
