and become more. Here is the topic, the deception of titles. I could also call it the delusion

of titles. A new title, whether you're in the workplace or elsewhere, can deceive you into believing

you are that new something when all the title does is buy you time to become that new something.

Now, those who give you a title can also be deceived into thinking you are now something you still

have to learn to become. If you're given a title of manager, for instance,

it doesn't make you a manager. It does put you in a position to learn and apply the skills

necessary to one day perform that role expertly. So stay humble, stay hungry, and work daily

to become what that title says you are.
