This is episode number 540, and we welcome Jay Scott and Blake Cannon

to the podcast to talk about a new app called Horn Score. Now, if you're a long-time listener

of the podcast, you probably know that this isn't something myself or Steve on the surface

would be interested in. We're not

trophy guys. We don't really care about score at all. There's sometimes we're trying to shoot a mature,

nice animal, and thankfully we've shot some good animals, but trophy and horn scores, that's not

like our key thing.

It's not really why we hunt.

So when I first learned about horn score, I was like, eh, that's not for me.

No thanks.

But when I chatted more with Blake and then got to look at the app,

what appealed to me most is that there is an educational aspect to this that helped me

understand and learn about animals better, especially if there is a new hunt opportunity,

maybe for something more unique, could be moose, could be sheep, could be anything,

that I just want to learn and study and see and compare those animals.

And so we speak with Jay and Blake in today's episode about the app and what it is and even get

into these topics a little bit about trophy hunting and why horn score in all reality is for

everyone and all animals. We get into the different species,

lessons on field judging, and a whole lot more. So whether you're chasing a big limited entry
