Let me start with the great state of Mississippi.

You know why I love Mississippi?

Because it's always funny.

Not just the spelling, the actual state.

So Governor Phil Bryant of Mississippi has officially signed a bill into law that's allowing prayer in schools. Now, this is

what the law says. Public schools can develop policies. Well, actually, it's requiring,

not making it okay. It's actually requiring public schools to develop policies that will allow

students to pray over the school intercom at assemblies and at sporting events.

While not allowing school sanction prayer, the law permits students to offer public prayers with a little disclaimer that it was not brought to you by the school administration.

Right. So it's kind of like, kind of like an election ad, you know, vote for

blah, blah, blah. This ad brought to you by. So what they're going to do is you can pray in

school and then at the end you have to say this prayer not brought not brought to you by,

public school, blah, blah, blah. Now here's the thing. Here's the thing about prayer in schools.

All right. Prayer has always been in schools.

Prayer never, you don't think there's prayer in schools?

Trust me, every time there's a test, there is prayer in schools, all right?
