Podcast where we try each week to struggle well together and laugh about it so that we don't cry.

That is usually the case, the laughing part, but today is a pretty heavy day, y'all.

There's lots of hope, but there's some pretty heavy content. I'm talking to a dear friend of mine about her very rough childhood.

I've seen this girl daily pursuing God for years and I just needed to share the journey of healing that she's been on with you guys.

This morning at church the pastor said that our lives will either serve as a wonderful

example or a horrible warning. It made me think about my friend Amy. Before she met Jesus, she was the

poster child of horrible warning because she had been through such trauma. It was

the only way she knew how to be. Her life was radically changed though and now she's one of the best examples that I know of

redemption. I would not recommend listening to this with little kids around

and I'm going to give you the grab a tissue warning because there are a couple rough moments.

So, so much redemption though and hope.

So don't let this serious introduction scare you off.
