So talk about the transformation that takes place as a result of this newfound relationship

with Jesus.

Well, I thought in the first week my brothers would become Christians, I'd convert them.

So it was like a theological version of Dumb and Dumber, where I just thought this is all going to, everything's going to change.

My dad will, you know, change. That didn't happen. My brother's resisted.

I mean, they were kind, but they were saying, look, you stop preaching us now?

Why are you starting to do this preaching stuff?

And then I pulled back.

I do remember buying my dad a Bible and giving it to him.

And my dad would have went out every Thursday night and had a drink and maybe,

maybe he had one drink too many and I

remember coming home one night my dad was sitting read the Bible and as a young student you know

I didn't really think very much but I thought dad you shouldn't be reading that Bible and you're

drunk maybe that's the best time to read it he took the Bible and threw up me, and I didn't see it again for a long time.

And I thought, we need to be careful what you say.

And when you say it and how you say it.
