Thus, my goals have changed, BUT, I'm not quite achieving them, why is that? What can I do? Hey everyone, Vancouver Radio, good morning, good afternoon, whenever you're listening, just

0:06.8

hello. If you do hear some little squeaks, it's because I'm recording again with Ivyy on my chest. I quite often get inspired early in the

0:15.2

morning. It's my time. These days I get up at about 3.30 a.m. and I have a good four hours to work by myself in silence up the end of my garden before my

0:26.7

demands change in my day and I love that time in my day I cherish that time to have freedom of thought and clarity. Now today I want to talk to you a

0:38.0

bit more about my evolution that I'm experiencing currently with working with a therapist or a coach or a

0:48.5

counselor or however you feel you want to frame that word as positively as possible because I don't want you to

0:54.8

see it as negative and the reason I feel I want to talk about it to you is because I

1:00.9

think it can help I think it can help. I think it can add perspective. I think talking is the most powerful way to move forward is to allow you to understand your thoughts and emotions and what you believe in and if we don't get insight, perspective, wisdom, theory on what it is that we might be struggling

1:20.4

with, then we're going to struggle to break through it because if it's problems

1:24.2

we've never dealt with in a positive way before then we are going to struggle like we don't

1:31.1

know how to sort out all of our own stuff. So what I want to quickly talk about today is the journey that we go on and the patterns that we can inadvertently get caught in,

1:45.0

but that pattern or that habit or that routine

1:49.3

or that mindset won't get you to the next level. So in my journey with my therapist at the

1:56.8

moment I'm actually coming at the journey from quite a holistic point of view. Me

2:01.9

on a personal level, me in my relationship, me in my business, me with what

2:07.8

I want to achieve in my life. And obviously since the sort of age of I'll say 18 my adult life I've been trying to build

2:17.5

myself and my perspective and my mindset to get me to a certain place. So I remember going on this journey at the age of 18

2:27.0

and starting to formulate a plan I wanted to lose weight and get fit and then over time that's that sort of started to formulate in terms of a career plan

2:37.2

where I wanted to become a personal trainer or what to enter in the fitness industry and then I got to that place and then I was like

2:46.0

right well this doesn't quite feel right for me it's not quite my purpose so I'm going to go to an

2:51.5

environment where I can stimulate the next journey for me.

2:56.0

And that was when I went to university and I was working pretty much three to five jobs at any given time because I wanted experience and what had stimulus or what
