Motivation comes and goes, and it's not just a matter of always just getting yourself going.

Sometimes we do that, start the day.

It's keeping yourself going because there's a lot that comes at you during the

course of a day. And when it comes to motivation, really, that's an inside job. You know, it's nice if you

get external motivation. If somebody pats you on the back, gives you a compliment, gives you

some type of reward. But you can't wait around for that because what if that doesn't happen?

Then you're just putting your

motivation in the power of something or someone else. And that's not a great place to be. So we are

responsible ultimately for getting ourselves going. You know, anything someone else does is great

if it gets us going faster, but we are responsible to get going.

And, you know, you have to take some actions.

And I don't think you really get motivated being passive and waiting for something to happen,

at least not very often.

Maybe you've not heard them in this context, where we're going over them in this order and we're, you know, throwing 10 at you here. Some of them you're probably doing. Some maybe you used to do and got away from doing. And now you're going to wonder, why did I let that happen? But it's not about fault. It's about fixing it.
