We felt as parents that God is the giver of gifts to our children, and we don't have a vote.

And it's not going to go anywhere good to stand in the way of that giftedness and the passion

that comes out of that.

And we thought our

calling was to encourage that anywhere any way we could with my oldest son Justin

who's a musician I mean it was early classical guitar lessons for him and for

Ethan who ended up going to art school it was little summer art classes for him as an eight-year-old,

anything we could do to help encourage those gifts

rather than, you know, parents stand the way of those

to think, how is this child going to live?

How, you know, how will they ever have a family?

And, you know, you ask all those fearful questions.

And then you say no.

And you stand in the way of what God has designed this human being to do.

And creatively, you know, goes all through life. It's not just in the arts.
