You said it's more valuable, more important, more significant, should be more of a priority

than our physical generosity or even our willingness to sacrifice our physical

comfort and convenience. Leaning to love, Peter said it slightly differently.

He said above everything else, love each other.

Now again in Alan's translation, that's love the ones that are your friends.

But in the biblical translation, we've got to love one another.

And that's not just to smile on some shallow way and then move along so you don't have to talk

to him anymore.

It's to actually be patient with people

and kind to people and content in the nature of where you are in comparison to them.
