My family is out of town. I'm home all alone and so I'm cramming in the interviews.

And I am so excited to be interviewing Lindsey Van Allen and Kirk Van Allen.

3:05.0

If you're paying attention to the LDS church at all in the 2000s, they do everything they can to distance themselves from polygamy.

3:15.0

But because you know, because Kirk dared to say that he disbelieved one of the sections of the doctrine of covenants, he was he was called in by his his bishop and later by your state president, is that right Kirk?

3:32.0

That is right. Yes. And and he has been sort of threatened with the disciplinary council and he hasn't gotten a letter yet, but they've they've they've now met with an area authority.

3:43.0

So you know, it's it's certainly being escalated and they're in the middle of waiting to hear back to see that they were certainly told that if they didn't take it down, they would be excommunicated.
