I think one of the most puzzling and difficult questions parents face today

is that of digital media. How do we manage our kids in a digital age? Our

ADHD children and LD children are often very attracted to online media and

they're even calmed by video games.

On the other hand, how does the parents select

the best apps and games to help your child learn?

How much is too much?

I mean, it's a puzzling time for parents

and a difficult question.

So I'm really pleased today that our guests are Randy Coleman and James Daly.

They have a wonderful website called Learning Works for Kids, which you may even want to go to

while we're talking, which is an extraordinary resource to help

parents specifically select the best apps and games and software to help children

learn and to specifically address children's executive functions and other learning issues.

Today they'll talk about a number of issues including why and how games work for ADHD kids,

what kinds of games and apps to the child with ADHD use, and their

site also recommends specific apps and they'll do some of that on the webinar as well.
