I am well. How are you, Jim?

Great. Well, as our listeners know, by now, we worked together for over a decade in the FBI's

behavioral analysis unit. We had some amazing cases, and we get to share a lot of our experience in that

FBI profiler's criminal archives series on Audible. And we get to continue to do this kind of

analysis and an explanation of what's going on behind the scenes and behind the minds of the criminals that commit the crimes and the

people that they victimize. So here we are today with another, you know, a very tragic case

of a boy who, a teenager who was probably pretty lonely, who got access to a character AI chat bot and basically

started isolating himself and only talking to this bot. Now this bot was programmed sort of as a

friend and he basically, as time went on, kind of fell in love with it,

right?

Right, yep.

Yeah, and it's a fascinating article, this New York Times article that we were reading

that gave some context to this, but I had so many questions after reading the article about, you know, how long that Sewell Setzer,

that's how you would pronounce his name, I guess, right, Seusser, the third, who was 14 at the time.

14 years old.

How long he had been engaging with this character AI, bot, this female character that he was corresponding with by the name of Daneris Targaryen, a character from the Game of Thrones.

And he knew her as Danny throughout this virtual relationship that he had with her that ended tragically.
