And we've had this adjusted gospel, this easy believism, this kind of shallow something or other.

Now I'm happy when things are simple

and when they go easily and when there's no complications.

I rejoice on those days.

But I want to invite you to consider with me what it means to be the people of God

that face difficult decisions because if we're not prepared for that

I do not have the imagination we can flourish with what's before us.

We did easy yesterday.

that we're willing to raise our hand and say we'll do difficult.

Or give us the assignments others don't want.

We'll go to places where people don't want to go.
