Nathan Fry shares the hard lessons that shaped his journey from a frustrated young officer to a battalion commander in the Vermont National Guard. Through failures, second chances, elite mountain training, and combat leadership, he explains why mentorship matters, why ego gets leaders in trouble, and why preparing people β€” not just equipment β€” is what ultimately wins wars.
