writing a book called Her Freedom Journey. Now, this book is a six-week journey helping women

find freedom from struggles with pornography and unwanted sin.

Throughout the book, Joy shares very honestly about her struggle with overcoming sexual trauma

and how she wrestled with an addiction to pornography. The book is actually coming out

our heart in writing it, and what we can do to help Christian women win the fight against pornography.

Well, welcome to Java with Julie and Joy.

Yeah, we're both a week out of Java here. Joy, I feel like some people in the authentic intimacy community know you very well, but many don't. So why don't you share a little bit about what you do at authentic intimacy and what brought you to our ministry? Yes. I've been on the team since 2020,

and I am the Authentic Intimacy Program Manager, which is a lot of things, but a lot of it is

just connecting with our community, connecting, engaging. So whether that's in an online book

study or connecting with our leaders and just helping people find the content they need for whatever, wherever they are on their healing journey.

And it's just so fun to walk alongside people knowing that some of those people, it's exactly where I was and the content and the help that I needed on my journey.
