The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 522 of real-life ghost stories.

And I have four spooky stories for you today.

And the last story comes from the first of February 2026.

And story number one comes from William.

This is my second time submitting a story here. I first submitted a story in episode number

350. I was going to add this to my first entry, but felt it did not fit the narrative of those

events. This story is a little different, and not so much paranormal.

I remember hearing on one year episodes the discussion of folks in poor health

waiting for something before they departed this life.

The story follows that narrative.

A family member of ours had committed offences earlier in his life that

later caused strife and major adjustments to his wife and four children's lives forever. He and his

wife were at retirement age when these offences came to light. When made public, he went to prison

and he and his wife ended up divorcing.

He thought it best when he got out of prison to move further away and got a job working shifts at a local plant.

A far cry from the life he had lived prior.

Within a year, too, his kids have forgiven him for everything that had happened

and tried to live their lives as normal as possible

and included

their father in family events and welcomed him on occasional visits. The third child did the same
