0:06.7	And today we have an episode that is about some of the misconceptions that are common,
0:12.1	especially among those who are new to selling on Amazon.
0:16.9	Some of the common misconceptions, some of the things that might be keeping you from jumping in and starting,
0:22.6	or maybe some of those things that are holding you back from jumping in a little more to the arena.
0:28.6	It's giving you hesitation, those little doubts in the back of your mind that keep you from taking the actions you need to take.
0:34.6	Let's talk about some of those. Let's put it into perspective.
0:38.4	So if you're new around here and you haven't heard many of our podcast episodes, my name is Jim.
0:43.2	I've been doing e-commerce for coming up on 20 years as the only income for my family,
0:48.6	working from home, selling products online, creating courses and content, books, have a team working at our warehouse
0:56.6	every day, which includes a couple of my kids who work there every day along with my mom
1:00.3	and my aunt, who help run my Amazon business. We've sold tens of millions of dollars of products
1:06.2	and services and coaching over the past several years. That's what we do. That's who I am. That's the world I know.
1:13.5	That's the most useful topic as far as business goes that I can possibly talk about is e-commerce and the
1:19.8	world of opportunity there. And as we look around the landscape of opportunities that are
1:24.2	available to us, Amazon clearly comes out ahead for a few reasons
1:30.2	that I'll go into. And I've mentioned many of these facts before on past episodes, but this is
1:35.1	the latest and greatest most recent version of the exact same thing we've been saying for a while
1:39.1	now, and that's this. In the world of e-commerce, Amazon is the giant that you simply cannot ignore.
