Welcome back Andy. Andy is here once again for part two of our discussion on the most shocking Harry Potter news events to date.

We had a lot of fun discussing some of the earlier years. And now we're going to get a little closer to present day.

So we're just going to jump right into things. We're going to start with April 2012. This story I still can't believe we don't know what happened.

J.K. Rowling, apparently unintentionally, announced that she was working on a Harry Potter encyclopedia on her official website.

After this was reported on by fan sites after we caught this, they took it down.

What had happened, as far as we know, is that Rowling had launched a new website and it seemed to be timed around the forthcoming launch of her first post-potter book, the casual vacancy.

And she had this FAQ section. And Micah, my memories of this event involve you because I remember being in Disney World at the time with my family.

And I think you, now this is this is back in the day where I was so addicted to writing the news on MuggleNet and Hypeable that I would bring my laptop everywhere I went.

And that included Disney World. So I remember Micah, I think you texted me, texted me about this.

I don't know. Did you hear about this from like a fan or do you remember how you heard about this?

I was on her website and I came across the blurb that we have here where it said for a long time, there's an FAQ section.

And it said for a long time, I've been promising an encyclopedia of Harry's World and I've started work on this now.

Some of it forms the new content in Pottermore. It is likely to be a time consuming job, but when finished, I shall donate all royalties to charity.

Now, I can't remember if this was part of the FAQ that came over from her old site, but I don't think so.

And maybe it was something that accidentally got published with the new site that they didn't.

Yeah. Didn't want it released at that time because they didn't know whether or not it was going to actually happen.
