I have no idea all the things that are going on in your life personally to start a new year.

But I can tell you with 100% confidence and certainty for me at 37 years old,

all I want in 2026 is to be near Jesus.

And I believe God has set aside this first window of 26 to draw near to his people at our local community like never before

I believe there is an opportunity to experience Christ in every aspect of your life.

And I just don't want to miss him.

I was praying this morning, living room, feeling like Jesus is a cross from me.

And I got the sense that the word he had for me this morning was,

I'm always here to be with you, to meet with you, to fill you, to speak to you.

The problem is, you are not.

And so if we have one goal and ambition with a new year, a new name, new activities, new,

it is just cut every distraction and cloud or fog.

I think it was prophetic that it was foggy this morning in Auburn.

You could barely see the building when a lot of us got here this morning.

Like, Jesus, would you just cut through the fog of the craziness and the busyness and the onslaught

of stuff in our lives? And would you be the name? Would you be the main thing? Would you get the

glory? Would you be the one who draws so close and near? And I've sat with him and I've experienced

a personal filling of the Holy Spirit

of God. So what you're going to get today is not going to be a self-help, life optimization

for how to have a better 2026. That is not who we are. That is never who we've been as a church.

What you're going to get today is you have an opportunity to draw near to the son of God

who loves you, who's made a way for a relationship
