She is entirely conceptual, or possibly a practical joke, it's never really resolved.

And welcome to an episode that is a hell of a milestone in a couple of ways.

Yeah, we are, at long last, at Grant Morrison's run on New X-Men.

I have been excited to cover this for more than a decade.

Oh, yeah, when we first started this podcast and we weren't sure how long it was going to last, we're like, whatever we do, we have to cover new X-Men if we can. Like, that was one of the things we were most excited about in the entire show. And I mean, that's been sort of on the far horizon for all of that time is, you know, we'll eventually get to Morrison. And listeners, many of you have gotten in touch with us over the years to talk about how excited you were, so we're going to try to do a good job. Also, as most of you all know by now, this is going to be the last run that we're covering on Jan Miles Explan the X-Men. And having recently read it, I can't think of a note I'd rather go out on.

I completely agree.

I mean, as much as I would have loved to have gotten to Krakowah and, you know, smaller things, like, say, the Mike Carey run or Sysburgers Legion stuff or whatever.

Like, if we're going through continuity, this is such a climax and highlight of the entire history of X-Men.
