Chris, can you tell us about your background and the work that you and your co-workers do at Builders for Climate Action?

Sure, yeah. The Builders for Climate Action project actually started with us at the building school called

the Endeavour Center, trying to for ourselves figure out what the carbon footprint of the

materials in our own building projects might be. We had been focusing on a really kind of metrics-based way of evaluating our, you know,

version of green building. So, you know, we had figured out, you know, how to use energy modeling

software to figure out those metrics, and we were measuring our job site waste and our power

use on site and,

you know, even things like the number of materials that contain questionable chemicals.
