We're going to move a little more rapidly through some of the next chapters and not do them one episode per chapter because there's going to be this long theme here of Saul is still king. David has been anointed king. Saul is trying to kill David, and David is fleeing for his life. |

| 1:55.5 | wall with his spear. But David eluded him as Saul drove the spear into the wall. That night David made good his escape. |
| 2:03.1 | Saul sent his men to David's house to watch it and kill him in the morning. |
| 2:06.2 | But Michael, David's wife, warned him. |
| 2:08.5 | If you don't run for your life tonight, tomorrow you'll be killed. |
| 2:12.0 | So Michael let David down through a window, and he fled and escaped. |
