light of the Lord Jesus Christ.

That is a truth.

Have you realized that? As a follower of Jesus Christ, you have been walking in his light.

You have been walking with his oversight, his blessing, his wisdom at your disposal, and it's my prayer that you've been taking full

advantage of that this year. I pray that the morning mindset will be helpful to you

in doing so as you continue through the year.

Yesterday we started a new series talking about the Psalms.

If you did not hear yesterday's episode,

you can go back and get kind of an overview of what a Psalm is and what you can expect from the Psalms.

But we started out with verses 1 and 2, which we're going to read again here in just a moment

to talk about the two kinds of counsel that we have at our disposal as human beings.

Psalm 1 chapters or verses 1 and 2 says,

Blessed is the man or the woman who walks not in the counsel of the Wicked, nor stands in the way of

sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers. But his delight is in the law of the

Lord and on his law he meditates day and night. Now you notice what the Psalmist is doing here, this is most

likely David who wrote this, is he is saying there is a particular kind of blessing
