The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 513 of real life ghost stories. And I have two spooky

stories for you today. And the last story comes from the 4th of January 2026. And story number one

comes from Brendan.

Growing up as kids, my cousin and I were out in farmland south of Perth, that my uncle was looking

after.

We were out and about after finishing chores that had to be done, and we, of course, were up to

no good, as there was an abandoned

house that was on the land that we were told not to go into as it was unsafe. Us being the

shits that we were, like red rag to a bull, tell us not to do something. What a silly mistake.

Anyway, the doors were locked, but us too being the

MacGyvers that we were made up a bit of wire to unlock the window, which were the old

style wooden frame lift up, always get jammed in a horror movie type of windows. Anyway,

after messing about for a bit, finally, success, we were in the house.

It wasn't dangerous, just old heaps of dust. So we looked around in all the rooms but one.

The door was locked. We couldn't budge it. We couldn't lock, picket, anything. So we decided it was time to leave before we got our asses kicked for messing about.

As we were about to jump out the window, we heard what we could only describe as a loud groan.

The temperature changed. We both looked at each other and did the what the fuck.

Naturally, this meant adventure.

We went up to the locked room again and opened the door like we hadn't even tried before.

Again, what the fuck moment. The room had a dirty old bed frame, a wardrobe with an old-fashioned wheelchair.
