When his daughter Angela and her friend Catherine show signs of demonic possession,

Whether it comes under the banner of the Exorcist franchise,

or whether it is its own individual thing, I will always give an Exorcism film a chance.

The idea of Exorcism used to absolutely petrify me beyond all reason. Not so much anymore because

I'm old and world weary. And to be honest honest I could do it a break but when I was

younger the films that terrified me were exorcism films the exorcist petrifying the exorcism of

emily rose scared the living bejesus out of me and there is unfortunately very little to like about this film, I would say. But I am going

to try and scrape some things to like from the bottom of this very exhausted barrel. So I respected

the nods to the original. Okay. So this film starts in Haiti and it embraces other religions,

other faiths. That was interesting, okay? The world does not begin and end with Catholicism,

literally or figuratively. There are other faiths and other religions. And I also really liked
