Welcome to Family Ghosts.

I would like to begin this week with an apology.

The episode is coming to your headphones a little bit later than usual.

And that is because I was utterly swamped the last couple of weeks putting together the

finale episode of The Rumor, which is the six-part mini-series I told you about a couple

weeks ago here on a bonus episode, and which has just wrapped up as of this week.

The last episode came out on Monday.

And it's a story that I am so proud of.

And if you haven't already, I humbly beseech you to take a listen to it.

And if you listen to that bonus episode, and we're put off at all by the idea that it's

about baseball, and that made you think it's a sports podcast, and that it being a sports

podcast might not be something that you're interested in, which I would completely understand.

What I want to say to you today is that it's a story about sports, but it's not a sports

story.

And me being the person that I am, I actually found a way to turn it into a Family Ghosts

story.

It's also the story of a friendship, and it's also a story about faith and how sometimes

we misplace it, and sometimes we regain it.

And you don't have to know anything about baseball to enjoy it.
