Summary

Lots of people assume they are not creative because they don't have a conventional 'creative' job, however we all have the opportunity to bring new thinking into our role and apply different techniques to solve problems and generate new ideas. Creativity at work is a source of competitive advantage for organisations and individuals and in this week's podcast, Helen and Sarah talk about the different ways you can bring creativity to your role and their own experiences of environments where creativity has thrived and those where it's died! People seem to find them, you know, really helpful. So here's to the next 50, I guess.

1:00.8

Oh, it's exciting. And the other bit of news, which we are slightly more organised about,

1:05.0

is that next year we're really excited to be able to share that we're going to be writing a book.

1:09.3

And that book's going to be called The Squiggly Career.

1:11.4

Probably no surprise there for the people listening to the Squiggly Careers podcast.

1:15.4

And it's going to be published by Penguin, which, as somebody who absolutely loves books

1:19.9

and reading, to have the opportunity to publish a book with such an iconic publisher,

1:25.1

it's basically my dream come true.

1:26.6

I think that might be it.
