I'm really sorry, but if we think about it, it was really Stephen King that did

this to you. And I feel like the question of why did you do this to me is somewhat central to

like what King is doing with the book. Yeah, yeah, definitely. This week on the show, the Battle of

Algoo Canto, the battle for the beam finally begins our

Katte wins the fight but at a terrible price the life of Eddie Dean we're reading part

two devartoy chapters 11 and 12 we'll be concluding part two this week and Matt I think

I already know this the answer to question, but what did you think

of this week's reading? It was real sad. And it was, you know, we're going to go into it in detail,

I think, but basically King tells you, going to make you sad, going to make you real sad, it's going to be awful. And then he does it.

And that's actually kind of amazing because normally if somebody tells you it's going to be

sad in advance, you're like, yeah, I think I can handle it. But he still manages to land, I think

pretty much every hit that he wants to land, regardless.

Yeah, and I think we could make the argument that the punches are a little more acute because

he's told you where he's going to hit you first.

Yeah, maybe so.

Yeah, this is a rough couple of chapters to read.

I've been dreading it since we started this book, and it's been, I, like, I knew it was coming.

Like, I could see these chapters approaching and I just really, really didn't want to get here, but we're here.

It was, the thing about it, and I think we're going to get into this in a second, is that it doesn't get easier on reread. It almost gets harder because not only do you know it's coming,
