And we thought to us we'd reached the landmark stage of 50.

It might be time to just for me and Talal to check back, sit down, hang up our feet

and just reflect on where we've got so far and where we're going in the future.

So I think you've got a list of you urge me to just go through the list and look at the guests that

we had of course i didn't do any of that cool uh perfect and um but uh you know you let's just go

through the list really yeah the idea i kind of mentioned it in the last episode is that i'd

kind of just reel off yeah the episode titles or the guests we've had on.

And then you can either be very brief or go into your deeper reflections on our previous episodes.

Well, it's also, you know, it's also like, you know, like excavation in a sense,

you know, like clay pipes and oyster shells.

You know, it shows where the various layers show where the nation was three years ago

when we first started.

Oh, yeah.

Preoccupations then and preoccupations now.

And also there was a, when I, my brief stint working at BBC News Night many years ago,

after every broadcast, they would all go into a little room and do something called a

post-mortem.

Right.

Where they would discuss how the show went, goods, bads, you know, all that and reflect on what they can do better in the future. Yeah. But this is like, this is not, but yeah. But this isn't a post-mortem because this isn't the end of anything, but it's no mid-mortem, post-mid-life. Pre-mortem.
