Hello heroes and welcome to another exciting episode of One Shot. I'm James Damato, your game master.

Since we've been featuring the over-the-top police cops for the past two weeks,

I thought we'd explore the other side of the law this week with

one last job designed by Grant Howitt. One last job is an unbelievably fun story

forward system that's made to emulate

heist movies.

One last job is a great example of a genre-focused system.

It guides you through all the major tropes of heist movies

and lets the most fun ideas float to the top.

Similar to fiasco, you don't actually build a character before playing the game.

All of the characters are generated as you play, which makes this remarkably easy to pick up.

The game sort of perpetuates itself, and although the creator does recommend that you use a game master, you certainly don't need one.

The rules are well constructed enough that as long as you follow them the game is going to lead somewhere.

And it's going to be a fun ride.

Players help develop each other's characters by telling stories about their past deeds, opening up old

wounds, and of course insulting each other.

The best part is, the game is only $5.
