as anything else in the world, it is talking to another gardener about gardening.

And today I'm getting to do just that,

and I'm going to let you guys in on the conversation.

Today on the show, I have invited Misty Little

of the Garden Path podcast on to chat with me today. If you haven't heard Misty's podcast,

definitely take a listen. She is a Texas gardener and she has lots of experience in,

as I mentioned in the podcast, more of like a holistic approach to gardening. So whereas my

expertise tends to be vegetables, fruit, herbs, that kind of thing,

she has expertise in the whole environmental aspect of it in addition to growing her own edible

garden. So I know for me, just listening to her podcast, she has been a wealth of knowledge and

just expanding my understanding on more of a top level way.

But today we're going to bring it back down to the basics because I know that's what you guys like

and she is going to give you a lot of tips that are going to help you in your garden.

We talked about so many different topics. It's honestly been hard for me to figure

out how to label this episode. One topic we discuss, I think a lot of you guys who are in the

southern part of the U.S. are really going to appreciate, and that is how she gardens in a southern

garden. So Misty's going to talk about what it's like to garden in zone

9a and how she incorporates four-season gardening in her edible garden. We're also going to talk

about organic gardening in general and how she takes it just a little bit further than most people do.

But I'll tell you, I love it and I'm

starting to kind of go that direction as well as you can tell in our conversation
