Welcome to the Beginners Garden podcast.

Episode 50 kind of snuck up on me, but when I realized it was coming up, I wanted to do something special.

When I first began this podcast in January 2017, I had no idea what I was doing. I hadn't a clue

how much work it would be, and I had no idea if the podcast would ever take off. But now in the 50th episode, I realized a few things.

First, if you have a dream, you have to start somewhere. And for me, that applies to this

podcast. But for you, it probably applies to your garden, especially how so many of you guys

are very beginning gardeners this year. You do have to start

somewhere. And second, I realized yes, if it's worth doing, it takes far more time than you ever

anticipated. But so worth it. And third, because of listeners like you, the podcast is growing

every week and I'm having so much fun talking

with you now and meeting you online and even in person. Whether you're new here or you've

been following along in episode one or whether you found me along the way and have been binge

listening because that's what I tend to do with podcasts that I find midstream.

I wanted to dedicate this episode to you because it's through your support that I get to do

something I love so much and that's using this medium to help others begin and grow their own

gardens. So today I'm letting some of you guys be the stars of the show.
