Hello, and welcome to episode 51 of Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.

Hi, I'm John Joseph Adams. I'm the editor and now publisher of Lightspeed magazine, and I'm also the editor of several anthologies.

I have several coming out next year including Under the moons of Mars,

which features stories inspired by the Barsoom Saga by Edgar Rice Burrows,

armored, which is about powered armored soldiers and Mecca, and the Mad Scientist

Guide to World Domination, which is about Mad Scientists and Evil Geniuses trying to

take over the world.

The most recent book of mine to come out was Light Speed Year One, which collects all of the

fiction published in the first year of Lightspeed.

And I'm David Barr Hurley.

I'm the author of many short stories including The Trial of Thomas Jefferson, about a court that uses time travel to put historical figures on trial. The story was originally

published in Cakeda magazine and also appeared as episode 13 of the Journey Into podcast.

And as you may have heard, this is going to be our last episode on I-O-9.

While we've gotten a tremendous response from almost everyone that's listened,

a large number of visitors to the site just aren't into podcasts.

So I-O-9 has chosen to focus more on text and video.
