Hi, this is John Joseph Adams. I'm the editor of Lightspeed magazine and I also recently took over as publisher.

in the anthology Light Speed Year 1.

My next books to come out are under the moons of Mars in February and

armored in April. And I'm David Barr Curley.

I'm the author of many short stories including Vale of Ignorance,

about a group of friends who experiment with a mind-bending alien drug.

The story originally appeared in the anthology All The Age this year and also in episode

one of the Meck Muse podcast.

And our guest today is Chuck Polonick.

He's the author of novels such as Haunted, Rant, Snuff, and Tellall.

His novels, Fight Club and Choke were both adapted for film.

His work is often shocking and almost 70 people reported to have fainted while listening

to him read his short story guts.

His latest novel, Dand, is about a teenage girl who dies and goes to hell.
