Hey, Bo. Good afternoon, man.

0:25.9

And good afternoon to you too, sir. How are you doing today?

0:28.6

I'm doing great. You know, it's just, it's just, it's wide open. I find myself really busy nowadays, although this is one of the slowest months of the year for retail. It's

0:39.7

kind of funny. We, you know, always see this big drop-off from June to July, and that has carried

0:46.0

forward and is true this year as well. But yeah, it's still still busy, man. It seems like

0:51.2

there's a lot of activity going on, just, you know, a lot of paperwork, a lot of stuff going around the house and things of that nature. So, yeah, just, you know, trying to hang in, trying to hang in. What's going on with you, dude? Oh, man, I am, I am, I am burnt out, to be honest with you. Man, lay it on us, man. It's just me and like, you know, 10,000 of your best friends. Like, what, what's going on? It's just, it's just been a long day. Like, you know, I'm, you know, we can pull the, we've mentioned this already, but we've got kind of a new recording time, which is in the afternoon, which is interesting because you and I, man, we are, we are the ying and the yang. We are like, handle it differently, don't we?

1:29.6

We really do.

1:31.2

And so, like. afternoon, which is interesting because you and I, man, we are, we are the ying and the yang.

1:27.7

We handle it differently, don't we? We really do. And so, like, you know, in the mornings, you're dragging in the mornings is typically when I'm, like, you know, kicking and rolling and ready to go. On fire. Man, lately, though, like, I've had these early morning meetings that have just been just destroying me. Like I used to wake up and get my

1:45.5

breakfast, go out, sit on the back patio, drink my coffee, get my head right, get excited,

1:50.8

dive right in. Like, you know, I am, I am that annoying morning person that everyone loves to hate.

1:57.8

Like, I love the mornings typically, but I don't even have that kind of energy lately. So I'm, I'm jerking that. No, it's fair. You know, I understand. It is funny. I, you know, kind of, you know, have enjoyed getting together in the afternoons on Thursday as we're recording. But yeah, it's something where, you know, we're just a different schedule. So I've already had, you know, three pipes today and, you know, been interacting with customers and all that kind of stuff. And, yeah, man, it's just part of it. You're fueled up and ready to go, which is good, man. I'm glad to hear it because we've got a fun show this week. Yeah, excited. Yeah. You know, it's funny because, I mean, one of the things that would normally be beneficial is, you know, of, of recording a little bit later is, is justified drinking. But, you know, I've been trying to fast a little bit in the midst of, especially as just, you know, in the local area, but I know a lot of local areas have just been hit hard in the second surge of COVID. And so, yeah, aside from just kind of, you know, be very healthy, also kind of using it as a time of, you know, just reflection and prayer whenever. Yeah. Wanting to go to, uh, to the spirits, uh, for, for some of it. You kind of think of it almost as a, as a, as a extended Linton season, You know, where... That's exactly right. You know, when times... I don't know, you feel your heart drawn in a certain direction,

3:10.9

and you're like, nah, I'm just going to buckle down and, you know, give this to the Lord for this season. And gosh, it is so intense right now. There's plenty to be in prayer for. But, yeah, you know, are things in Houston? Like, have you been able to, you know, I guess things are probably worse or at least as the same as they are here where you just can't go to restaurants, go out to eat, any of that kind of stuff? Or if you can, it's, you know, curbside. And it just makes it really awkward, you know, like, yeah, that kind of deal. So, yeah, I mean, like,

3:42.3

definitely you can. I mean, Texas has been probably more laxed, honestly, than it should have been throughout this process. But, like, you know, so there, you know, you can go to some restaurants. They are open and limited capacities, but, you know, we certainly aren't. You know, my wife working and health care and everything.

3:56.7

We try to be very cognizant of the fact that, you know, with her working with COVID patients, I'm more concerned about us giving it to people than getting it by being out, so to speak. So, but yeah, it's been rough. I will say this, though, man, because, like, right before we started recording, I was wishing that I could be indulging in the cocktails. Because you were mentioning you just had this like really interesting cocktail experience. Something with pipe tobacco? Yeah, that's kind of neat. We had some friends, you know, from out of town come in this past weekend. And that was a lot of fun to catch up with Jared and Brittany who live in another part of the state. But it was kind of cool. We were drinking the botanist, which you and I have talked about recently in an episode. It's so good, you know. And I, you know, just it was really enjoying that and, you know, a really flavorful gin. And they don't pay us to say that. We have no idea who works at the botanist. They may be
