| 0:00.0 | Good morning my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready |
| 0:07.0 | to get your mind aligned with the truth of God. That's why we are here. I want to do so by pointing your attention to Psalm chapter 117 today. |
| 0:17.0 | Psalm 117 reminds me once again of a song. I guess I'm often reminded of songs because songs just stick in your mind. |
| 0:26.4 | Songs are something that come back to you easily. And the song I'm thinking of is a song that I believe was published in the 1970s and it was published for Christians to sing in the local church. |

| 1:09.4 | and I lift my voice to worship you, O my soul rejoice take joy my king in what you hear |
| 1:14.5 | may be a sweet sweet sound |

| 1:48.0 | It's because it expresses a desire of our hearts as followers of Christ |
| 1:53.8 | to express our love and our devotion to the Lord. |
| 1:57.2 | That song in fact is one that my wife would often sing |
| 1:59.9 | to our children as she was putting them to bed at night. |
| 2:03.7 | And that short little song is basically the same thing that we have in Psalm 117. |
| 2:11.7 | The entire chapter is only two verses long. And being a |
| 2:16.1 | Psalm, it was also sung. Many times I wish we had the tune for these songs that we find in the Psalms because I would be curious to hear |
| 2:26.1 | the kind of singing that they did back in ancient Israel using this particular set of verses. Psalm 117 says, |
| 2:34.4 | Praise the Lord, all nations, |
