0:40.6	I want to start by saying that I wasn't really a creepy kid but I always felt presences almost everywhere I went. I could feel energies from multiple
0:48.0	areas no matter where I was. It was like I was never truly alone. Most likely I should have gotten kicked down the stairs but my
0:55.8	mom decided maybe not. When I was seven I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time and it
1:02.1	completely terrified me. Honestly it's probably why I'm still scared of the dark. I don't remember
1:08.3	the nightmare that triggered it but I woke up suddenly staring at the ceiling and realized I couldn't move. I don't see things during sleep paralysis, but I definitely felt something that night. All of a sudden, two hands grabbed my ankles. I tried to flinch, try to kick, but nothing. Slowly the hands started moving up my legs, up my stomach until they wrapped
1:28.6	around my neck pinning me to the bed. I tried to scream, but as soon as I opened my mouth,
1:34.3	a hand covered it, no sound. It probably only lasted seconds, but it felt like minutes. Finally,
1:41.2	I managed a yell and called for my mom and then it stopped.
1:45.8	Around nine or ten, we lived in a lovely home.
1:49.1	But it had a strange, heavy vibe that apparently only I noticed.
1:54.4	One night, me, my mom and my little brother were in the basement watching TV.
1:58.4	The front door was directly above us.
2:02.5	Suddenly, it opened.
2:09.7	My mom paused the show. We listened as footsteps crossed the entryway, paused at the top of the stairs and then slowly started coming down. Step by step, by step, and then, boom.
2:18.5	Like someone jumped from a few steps above and landed right in front of us.
2:22.5	We all looked at each other, confused and scared and then ran upstairs.
2:26.9	The door was closed and locked.
2:31.1	In the same house, I kept having recurring nightmares about the basement computer room.
2:36.0	In the dream I'd be downstairs playing a game or watching TV and suddenly feel watched.
