Apple we've been talking about we wanted to cover Catalina we wanted to make it

timely coverage and of course Apple decided to release it yeah Yeah, it's out sort of mid-cycle for us

and we didn't want to wait.

So here we are with a special bonus episode.

So this is just us talking about the features of Catalina, talking about my review, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun.

Yeah, I am actually excited about this Mac update.

I was talking to a geek friend who said,

well, you know, all the actions over on iOS,

who really cares about the Mac at this point and I couldn't disagree more.

I just feel like Apple is doing things very publicly here with the Mac operating system that Show it does care about the MAC.

And it's a very interesting update because, you know, we're going to, as we get into it in this episode,

they're making some very fundamental changes that are going to change the direction of the Mac going forward.

And as Mac power users, we need to be aware of that and kind of ride that wave.

I think that's absolutely right and I actually look at the changes in Catalina which we're going to get

into as a sign that Apple also disagrees with your friend.

I don't think Apple would be making these like fundamental changes to Mac OS

and building technology to make Mac OS more convenient for developers if the Mac was, you know, on its way

out or on its last legs. Clearly the Mac isn't the cornerstone it once was that I think
