Welcome back to the peripheral. A quick update, I want to thank everyone for the response I've received for my last episode, so you want to be a podcaster. It was overwhelming. The amount of feedback, messages, and even new patrons I've received from that episode, it actually

brings a tear to my eye. And I never know how every episode is going to be received. It's made a

huge splash in the community amongst fellow podcasters and listeners. Since then, I've expanded on the

conversation. I went on a crawl space with the missing Mormon Mary guys, Tim and Lance. I also

was interviewed by Crime Sphere with Mike the Morp, voice of the victim, and ignorance was bliss.

Today's episode is going to be some scary stories, sort of in the vein of the month of October and Halloween.

But as most of you know, I don't go for the paranormal or things like that.

I talk about things that are really scary that happen in everyday life.

On this episode, I speak with three men who talk about being

assaulted, whether it be physically or sexually. And these events all seem to happen while they're

out in the woods. Now, in an attempt to not make this about scary stories in the woods,

I really want people to think about how men can be victims of sexual assault

and are victims at a very high rate.

And sometimes they're forgotten about.

And I want people to remember that victims come in all shapes and sizes,

all races, all sexes. And it's something that affects us all. So it's a topic that I wanted to give

more focus to.
