So you want to be a podcaster. Does anyone think that podcasting is easy out there?

Because if you do, I have something to tell you. It's not. It takes a lot of time and effort.

Most people are podcasting as a hobby is something they love, a passion. It's not

something that they get paid for, so they're taking time out of their day to create free content.

I know that Aaron and I for the Gen Y surely spend 20 to 40 hours a week to produce the show.

And that encompasses research, recording, post-production, social media, show notes,

everything that goes into the podcast.

When Aaron and I first started the Generation Y, we didn't have a lot of

ideas. We just wanted to talk about society and culture and topics that impact us. And it just

happened to be that the court system and our laws and whatnot, we seem to

gravitate towards more than other topics. Since the inception of the Generation Y, I'm pretty

sure that I've been accused of being racist, sexist, anti-cop, pro-cop. I'm not really sure how I can be all those

things at once, but I guess it's because I try to come from a more moderate common sense place

and not from one side or another. I know when I started the peripheral,

I wanted to put something good out into the world. I wanted to, I don't know, give back or

something to that effect. I never really cared to make money off of the peripheral. Not that I

really planned on making money off the
