Hi, this is John. This week on the Cinephiles, we are celebrating our 50th episode.

That's right, we've done 50 movies already on the show, Steve Morris and I. What a fantastic accomplishment and we want to tell you guys, thank you so much for the support, the comments, and recently the Patreon contributions to our show.

You've really kept us going doing the show and inspired us to

tackle more and more movies and Steve and I now are just like so focused on it

every week making sure we bring you quality episodes and quality product. And

speaking of quality, this week, we are tackling

1982's Blade Runner, directed by Ridley Scott,

based on Philip K Dick's novel, Androids Dream of Electric Sleep.

And we knew Steve and I were not enough to cover this film.

We weren't going to be able to do it 100% justice without the right guest.

And we ended up asking one of our favorite guests ever.
