Summary
Can you feel lonely in your family?
Carolyn Edge grew up in a loving family home, with three brothers and memories of playing with the neighbourhood kids, spending summers at the pool and some great fun times. But by the time Carolyn hit the teen years, life became confusing. When there is no deep connection with anyone in your family, when you feel that no-one will hear you and when your feelings are not acknowledged, who do you turn to for connection? Who do you rely on to help you get through the difficult times of growing up? We don't need to come from a completely dysfunctional home to feel that we are alone and Carolyn has so many things to share about her life that demonstrate how disconnected we can become with the people who are meant to support us the most.
