TED Audio Collective. During my second year of grad school, I decided I needed to get back to a part of myself I had wandered away from. I was a big athlete in high school, but that kind of training just slipped through the cracks in the intervening years, and I wanted to get strong

again. I went to the campus gym, and they asked me if I wanted to do an assessment. I hardly agreed,

only to learn that my body age was five years older than my actual age. That started me on a journey

of running, weightlifting, all the things. And now,

I'm proud to say, those muscles are back. Maybe it's a little straightforward with our bodies,

but thinking about how to strengthen the things we care about is always a useful exercise.

Moving from the gym to the boardroom, how do we build our businesses to be more

resilient and agile to keep pace with the ever-changing global economy?
