I am Jeff Harmon, the host for this episode. I'm solo

again today and I'm going to share my top five things photographers need in a

monitor. I know I'm on this top five kick but actually they're going to do six things

but it sounds better with top five anyway let's start off with a couple of other

miscellaneous things first and then we'll get into the things that photographers need to look for in a computer monitor.

So software update status.

Microsoft has released a new build of Windows 10 here in the last part of May 2020.

This release is called Windows 10,

20, 2004, but it's not like 2004 the air,

it's more like 20 is the 2020 and 2004 is the month that it was supposed to be really anyway as always I highly recommend

that photographers wait before installing the new build there isn't a ton of new

functionality that photographers should be excited about in

in Windows 10 2004 either. There's actually not much new functionality just like overall.

There's security updates which are always good and there's

kind of a big under the hood thing called Windows Defender System Guard and this one that photographers are going to want,

eventually when I give the all clear. We'll see how

Microsoft does. They've been kind of working on this for a while and they

delayed like to the very last minute of May here. They said this release was
