2020 edition of Tesla Daily on official Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Maurer. Today we are talking

about what I'm watching for from Tesla's Q4 earnings report scheduled for tomorrow.

On yesterday's episode we went through some of the consensus expectations and my thoughts around those

expectations.

But here I want to focus a little bit more on some of the more intangible things around guidance

and structure of the earnings report and what I'm really looking for in terms of

updates from Tesla for the quarter. So the first one here is sort of a cheat. It's

six different subcategories but give me a pass on that. So the first aspect here is guidance.

Tesla's guidance is incredibly important for how Wall Street reacts.

Wall Street, allegedly even though they may not be the best at it sometimes, is a forward-looking entity.

So the past results are important,

but really they're important in terms of how they

shape the future.

And a big part of that is Tesla's guidance.

So it remains to be seen what we'll get from Tesla in terms of guidance,

as I talked about yesterday.

They may not give us a whole lot of detail here,

but if they do a couple things that I'm gonna be watching for.

First is obviously Tesla's guidance for Q1. So does

Tesla continue to guide for sequential growth? I think is the big question here. In Q4

they delivered about 7,000 more vehicles than they produced, which means they've drained their inventory and that's been consistent over the last couple of quarters.
