During his inaugural address, President Biden said,

today we celebrate not the triumph of a candidate,

but of a cause, the cause of democracy.

The will of the people has been heard,

and the will of the people has been heated.

We have learned again that democracy is precious.

Democracy is fragile, and at this hour my friends,

democracy has prevailed.

And yet here we are.

A few days from the first anniversary of the January 6th

in the direction, and America is at greater risk than it's been in modern times.

The attempt by Republicans to overturn the results of the 2020 election

is morphed into an ongoing and relentless strategy by them

to change laws at local and state levels so an

insurrection would no longer even be necessary.

Through Republicans, we'll simply make stealing elections legal.

People and the mainstream media tend to shy away from language

that seems extreme because in part they think it will make them look biased.

But if we don't call things what they are,

we can't expect people to understand what's going on.

By failing to use language accurately,

we set up a situation in which describing things accurately
