I've been waiting to start this book since we started the last book.

Yeah.

I mean, I can see why now that we're here.

Yeah.

This week on the show, we are going to begin book two of the Dark Tower series titled

The Drawling of the Three.

This week on the show, we'll be discussing part one all the way through chapter three.

So this book is divided into three parts, and we're going through chapter three of part one called Contact and Landing.

In this week's reading, Stephen King demonstrates the quality of Maine Lobster by having one of them chop the fingers off as hero.

Then we meet Eddie Dean, the prisoner, a drug smuggling junkie flying back to the States with some cocaine stuffed in his armpits.

Rolling connects with Eddie via a beachside interdimensional doorway as they smuggle some drugs right out of thin air.

Matt, what did you think of these few chapters? I think I'm beginning to see why this

series is so great, you know? I mean, the gunslinger was very fun. I was on board for it. It was,

it was odd. It was strange. It was interesting. But this book, it kind of takes another,

it brings everything up at another level, you know what I mean.
